Twitter update, Reports that DIAS Police Beat and Killed a 23 year-old Protester. This Mean’s War
We are unable to confirm that information, Anthony. Twitter link?
it appear’s that was fasle information i posted i’m sorry.
99 non-police casualties reported in 5 hospitals- many with respiratory problems due to gassing-
Police reported to be using old Adamsite-DM gas(‘vomiting gas’-considered to be outmoded and made obsolete by CS gases), contains arsenical compounds -arsenical diphenylaminechlorarsine.
There is 1st hand report from two physicians at syntagma that most of the head injuries they treated were on young people (some teenage) from rocks thrown by police inside the plaza. One 15year old is being treated at a hospital for severe skull fractures.
Various medical volunteers will be coming out with an announcement of their experience and with details on their assessment of the use of deadly chemicals. Most are banned by a UN treaty even for use in war situations.
The latest canisters that were thrown in Syntagma tonight had expired since 95, which may mean they must running low in supplies. Almost all are manufactured by Israel and the US.
Nothing ends, this is just the beggining!
Does not surprise me. People from around the world, when the look at the “crowd control” tools being used against them find that they are almost always manufactured in the U.S. or Israel, two of the worst criminal regimes on the planet.
Seems to me the Greek cops depend on gas and brutality because their training is shit- other riot forces use tighter military type formations to occupy and deny space…(Germany, UK -not that they beat people any less).
There’s obviously a need to spread more info on self-protection, helmets, masks and other gas countermeasures…(portable water containers to immerse canisters?)
Great to see people carrying water sprays for gas relief recently…
advices for self-protection:
-protectors for the body like the cops use them, it’s also usual sports’ equipment for skaters, bmx riders etc.
-instead of motorcycle helmets: basecaps with hard plastics inside, they exist for workers and for bicycle riders and you will be still able to wear a gas mask
what may help to stop the teargas from spreading is to freeze teargas canisters (cs teargas starts to melt from 95 degrees, but is solid at room temperature) with:
-CO2-fire estinguishers
-liquid nitrogen, or nitrogen ice spray
medical advices for protesters:

german cops started end of the eighties protecting themselves with ice-hockey equipment, bmx/skate isn’t good for running! cheap ice-hockey-stuff you will find in east-europe but it’s leather will stink a bit from aftershave.
the best will be to buy police-equipment from Cuba or even cheaper from some corrupt regime.
ask your greek-russian neighbor!
i’ve heard of 1986 cs-canisters from germany used in december 2008!
