#585 | Photos from the fascist pogrom and anarchist resistance in Athens in the past few days
Expropriated from corporate news agencies. Viva counter-information – see you at the Contra Info evening of networking and financial aid, tonight!

- Police and neo-nazis attempt to approach the Villa Amalias anarchist squat…

- …only to regret doing so, moments later

- A neo-nazi attacks a cyclist passing by Omonia Square. The neo-nazi’s helmet is possibly one of the DIAS motorcycle police force.

- Riot police “defend” a migrant from the neo-nazi thugs…

- …yet the same man was beaten by the neo-nazis moments later. There were, of course, no arrests.

- Anarchists and anti-fascists create a cordon to defend the Villa Amalias squat on Aharnon street.

There has been an attack to the exarxeia police station by 40-50 people with stones and molotov cocktails. The police station itself wasn’t really damaged but in the attack a woman was injured by accident.
This immigrant is wearing wehrmacht camo uniform. Looks similar to Kaddafi mercenarys uniform.
The fascist morons (cops with neonazis) made a much bigger attack in the summer of 2009 directly coordinated by then Minister of Civil Security. The anarchists quicky gathered and fought back, and fascists LOST big time under a rain of stones and molotovs coming from the Villa Amalia and the support crowd. This was epic.
I feel for that lonely guy who got beaten by these fascist cowards… probaly just because he ended up at the wrong time and the wrong place.
Their democracy shall not win!
Does anyone have a link or source where I can find a good quality copy of the last picture of the anarchists in front of Villa Amalia? Much thanks!
