The very word “secrecy” is repugnant in a free and open society and WE are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts, far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.
Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions.
Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it.
And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment.
Today no war has been declared and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. (Still) Our way of life is under attack.
Those who are making themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe and the survival of our friends is in danger.
And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired.

Well every good thing must come to an end and even here where the heroism of mighty Greeks, brought us altogether in this shortstop on way to a total world revolution, even here the time has come to drop that final note until we maybe meet again somewhere in an another new beginning.
It’s somehow strangely disquieting, for although I feel my attitude towards society is yet so far detached from FONTAS’, the pleasantly interrupting Greek ephemeron mayfly that hobnobbed in our circles with whitewashing capitalistic lifestyle and antagonistically disclaiming the very justification of our choice to resist, prior to his vanishing act in muteness as quick as he hooked up.

As I uneasily troubled deliberate, that like him I also sought in this forum to take part in a constructive debate, yet unlike his motivations to discredit anarchism, I suppose that I was more looking forward on discussing practicalities how to, network, recruit, organize, strategize, mobilize, whether more theoretical, to get myself acquainted & exchange ideas on the fundamental ideologic, philosophic, & futur-ologic, convictions of anarchists in general.
If being an anarchist compulsory implies to be in attendance of anarchists symposiums, manifestations, or forums, than so be it, I render my earnest mea culpa, for confusing myself with, simulating & imposing on you as such. If acceptance to anarchism irremissibly means to be under a certain age, then I guess I’m probably also way above the admissible years to become an initiated club member anyway. It’s just that I was under the apparently misjudged impression, from the literal understanding of the term, that there were no rules, no conditions, no discriminations. But obviously PIETER I stand corrected thanks to your hortatory discouraging example cautioning frankness, I cede quite a memorable eye-opener boy, you are indisputably an extraordinary kid, intriguing too to have somehow arrived at the apartheid evidently apodeictic for your own type of juvenile anarchy.
Furthermore, in full awareness that I might have additionally pulled one or more too many wise cracks here & there, yet all for sake of humor as a means to associate not in any offensive way. Now more than ever, – ensuing the collapse of the economy with it’s appending colossal ramifications, heralding wide & longstanding unemployment, – the contingent complications surrounding the recession of oil winning equated against consumption, (the so called Peak Oil phenomenon), – the consequent degrading of the quality of life, the unrelentless defilement of the natural habitat, – the ever tightening noose of more & more of Big Brother’s civil measurements & restrictions, – and the ever widening penetration by the main stream public to see through the democratic force.

Inasmuch prioritizing it’s efforts on the socially unattended fields of the enemy, minority groups, at the fringes of Western society, who are ever under increasing pressure exerted by the states in their ever suppressing moderation to equalize the social structure. As to exemplify some candidates that jump from the top of my mind; illegal aliens, unemployed, homeless, gangsters, gipsies, bikers, cults, hooligans, smokers, squatters, ecologists, animal activists, alternative communities, subcultures, underground movements and so forth. Suitable relation ambassadors should be appointed in each field of exploration & region, to spread the word & create the awareness amongst the communities that the time for fusion is close at hand, and to spur them into commencing preparations for their own contribution when the avenging zulu hour strikes and all hell break loose in capitalistic wonderland.
Perhaps it sounds passably questionable to some but we ought to even well reach out to connect with artists & radio hosts in the music branch, maybe even channel our own European whether regional radio broadcasts, or something along those musical lines. You bear heavy responsibilities these days and an article I read some time ago reminded me of how particularly heavily the burdens of present day events bear upon your community.
The events of recent weeks may have helped to illuminate that challenge for some; but the dimensions of its threat have loomed large on the horizon for many years. Whatever our hopes may be for the future—for reducing this threat or living with it—there is no escaping either the gravity or the totality of its challenge to our survival and to our security—a challenge that confronts us in unaccustomed ways in every sphere of human activity.
This deadly challenge imposes upon our society two requirements of direct concern both to the press and to the President—two requirements that may seem almost contradictory in tone, but which must be reconciled and fulfilled if we are to meet this national peril. I refer, first, to the need for far greater public information; and, second, to the need for far greater official secrecy
It requires a change in outlook, a change in tactics, a change in mission.
This means first greater coverage and analysis of international program—for it is no longer far away and foreign but close at hand and local. It means greater attention to improved understanding of the news as well as improved transmission. And it means, finally, that the organization at all levels, must meet its obligation to provide you with the fullest possible information outside the narrowest limits of national security—and we intend to do it. Yet I have no intention of establishing a new Office of War Information to govern the flow of news. I not only could not stifle controversy I welcome it. Without debate, without criticism, no country can succeed—and no republic can survive. That is why the Athenian law-maker Solon decreed it a crime for any citizen to shrink from controversy.

And I do o ask every publishing company, every news block, every one reporter in the nation to reexamine his own standards, and to recognize the nature of our country’s peril.
That question is for you alone to answer. No prescribed regulation should answer it for you. No plan should impose its restraints against your will. But I would be failing in my duty to you, in considering all of the responsibilities that we now bear and all of the means at hand to meet those responsibilities, if I did not commend this problem to your attention, and urge its thoughtful consideration.
If the board is awaiting a declaration of war before it imposes the self-discipline of combat conditions, then I can only say that no war ever posed a greater threat to our security. If you are awaiting a finding of “clear and present danger,” then I can only say that the danger has never been more clear and its presence has never been more imminent.
Now the links between the nations first forged by the compass have made us all citizens of the world, the hopes and threats of one becoming the hopes and threats of us all. In that one world’s efforts to live together, the evolution of gunpowder to its ultimate limit has warned mankind of the terrible consequences of failure.

Forgive me my brainless remarks. By the sound of your comments, your aren’t probably as emotionally disconnected as I alleged. I imagine as a DJ you can hardly afford to be, and actually honestly I have to impart that I only spilled them quotes to get on your (& other’s) nerves.
