Delighted with the demo in Dublin today.
One BIG banner, reading RESIST POLICE- MURDERERS IN UNIFORM, and two others ( OUR LIVES DO NOT BELONG TO THE STATE and REMEMBER THE DEAD, FIGHT LIKE HELL FOR THE LIVING) were taken out right on front of the cities busiest shopping street as leaflets detailing why we were protesting were handed to passers by.

Then, the crowd moved to the Greek embassy. Marching down the middle of a busyroad, chanting "in anger! in grief! in solidarity!"

The embassy had recieved a beautiful paintjob sometime just before the demo and boasted plenty of red splashes, along with two broken windows.

We're thinking about you over here, best wishes.

While I was helping to organize the Toronto rally, I was not able to personally be there... however, I think it was cancelled (not by me) due to bad weather/ low numbers... we may plan for a different day to make more of an impact.

Indymedia (http://london.indymedia.org.uk/) seems to be the best bet or the Solidarity Map (http://greeksolidaritymap.blogspot.com/) but there's no guarantee events listed will go as planned, I have no idea who posted the embassy demo but it wasn't any of the people who actually turned up :s

I was one of the 4 outside the embassy (the 5th was a freelance journo), we hung around from 11 till 12:30 then said goodbye to the cops and headed over to Wood Green for 2. The Wood Green demo was quite impressive, Turkish Communists standing in solidarity with Greek Anarchists as well as a few others (less cops than the embassy too)

I am an Indian and following the Greek situation carefully.
The condition in my nation are worst.Capitalist state have ruined our lives. But very few people here are actually fighting against the state. Our youth is totally depoliticized and trade unions are getting corrupt day by day.

The situation in Greece is really an inspiration to all the youth and the workers of the world. It's a direct challenge to capitalist state in a fairly advanced nation.Today the workers and youth of Greece are showing us how can we bring a brutal capitalist state to halt and how vital is the role of working class and youth in running the society.

I have a request to all the Greek people who are fighting in street for there rights. Please don't end up only
protesting in the street.Organize effectively, democratically (worker's council, students council, coordination committees between different council...etc)and capture the state power. We need to capture the in order to change its socio-economic structure.Socialism in Greece will rejuvenate the spirit and confidence of the international revolutionary working class and they will follow your example.

Revolutionary Greetings,
