SATURDAY 20/12
GLOBAL DAY OF ACTION AGAINST STATE TERRORISM

Two weeks after the state murder of comrade Alexandros Grigoropoulos, the social and class counter-attack continues.

University facilities and public buildings remain occupied, whilst mobilisations, demonstrations and confrontations with the uniformed guardians of order continue to take place on the streets, throughout Greece, on a daily basis.

Up until Wednesday 17 December, 16 of those arrested during the rebellious events of December have been imprisoned facing grave charges and 4 of them are persecuted according the "anti"terrorist law. Hundreds of people have been arrested all over the country. In Athens alone 184 people have been arrested, whilst more than 30 immigrants are being detained.

The events that took place following the murder of Alexandros Grigoropoulos started a wave of worldwide mobilisations in his memory and in solidarity with those rebels fighting in the streets against democratic totalitarianism. Gatherings, marches, symbolic attacks on Greek consulates, as well as confrontations with the police, have taken place in cities across Cyprus, Germany, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Belgium, the United States of America, Turkey, Ireland, Switzerland, Croatia, Australia, Russia, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Poland, Argentina, Chile, Canada, Uruguay, Austria, New Zealand, Portugal, South Korea, Basque Country and elsewhere.

We continue the occupation of the Athens Polytechnic School that started on the evening of December 6th, creating a space for everyone involved in the struggle and providing a steady point of resistance within the city of Athens.

Following a collective decision of the occupied Polytechnic’s general assembly on Saturday 13/12, we called for global actions against state terrorism on Saturday 20/12. Because we do not forget and we do not forgive. Because the use of murderous violence by the state and bosses against those that struggle is not a localized phenomenon but rather a universal suffocating reality. Because zero tolerance and repressive terrorism, wage slavery, poverty and social exclusion, exploitation, oppression and social control are not constrained by borders – but neither is the struggle for freedom.

The rebellion that lit up this miserable world with its flames, continues!
Immediate release of all who are being detained by the police.
Solidarity with everyone facing persecution.
Solidarity with everyone around the world who uses any means to spread the message of rebellion!

Gathering at the site of Alexis Grigoropoulos’ murder.
Saturday 20/12, 9pm.

Johnny, thanks for your response. Rereading, I don't like the tone of my previous comment; it comes off as an 'I'm right, you're wrong' kind of thing, which is not where I'm coming from.

Given that, thanks for your level-headed and informative response. I think I understand where you're coming from.

Of course, as for the situation in Greece, I think the facts on the ground will guide the progress of whatever comes out of this, and all the theory in the world will be so much empty text next to whatever beautiful worlds might be made...

Coyote thanks for the response. That we had a dissimilar view on anarchy was evident.
I only felt like expounding my radical theory for sakes of sharing ideas. Nothing wrong with exchanging perspectives now is there? Everybody is entitled to his or her opinion. Neither do I want to impose mine on anybody.
Though I feel compelled to point out that the version predicting that the implementation of such a drastic anarchistic reform as I propose, would inexorably lead to a renaissance of the stone ages, in effect reinstating the rule of the jungle, - that as you rightly remarked has in fact it’s own hierarchic make up, - is a completely hypothetical inference. I could argue that the typical anarchist, like many religions, believes deep down in the goodness of man and generally possesses enough common decency to respect the autonomy of every individual. Thus rightly effectuated, if say in an ideal world where everybody was a hard core anarchist, the system would theoretically work without much degradation to the overall social stability. As academical naturally as the version of a regressive evolution back in time, still.
People tend in that regard to rashly underestimate the evolutionary matureness by which the collective human consciousness, that is incessantly pressuring the forces of conservatism on many fronts, has in our age & time already progressed far beyond the conventional, religious, governmental, commercial & economic systems, that have invariably been in place for centuries. This accumulates then so forth to the revolution of our times. Insomuch that all throughout history the progress of mankind has shown a persistent trend to pursue freedom. In a slow pace and with many setbacks certainly, yet what matters is that man’s journey is on a noticeable trajectory towards an absolute free society. Our contemporary revolt could be considered as a paradigmatic affirmation in praxis to that premise.
Once completed I imagine the matured human being to have arrived in a state of mind weary of the indignities of war, oppression, exploitation etc. and be equipped with enough mental capacity & moral fiber & willpower, to resist against the vices that are inextricably attached to the gift of conscious thinking.

The revolution entails therefore also a spiritual aspect, as is the entire human evolution, a learning process to deal with the experiment that is end-all life itself. Which btw isn’t without structure, but is on itself a highly advanced form of technology, build on mathematic principals, which science has only in modern (post Darwin) times began to understand & recognize. Which is another complicating matter, in this entire discussion. Finally everything interlocks, all our practical, existential, philosophical, ideological, social & religious, tracks converse in such a discourse which you can gather is extensive. Nonetheless I hope that this suffices for at least provoking your thoughts with some material to ruminate on and give you a read as to where my kind of anarchy is coming from.

“We have before us the opportunity to forge for our ourselves & for future generations a New World Order, a world in which the rule of law, not the rule of the jungle governs the conduct of nations.” GEORGE BUSH (senior).

It’s either one or the other, cause freedom & subjugation only equates like alive or death in absolute terms there’s no in between.

Johnny, I suppose my anarchy is something that we build together as a way of living that counteracts hierarchy, rather than the system of 'nature', which may or may not involve hierarchy, domination, violence... I see that as a tyranny of structurelessness, where by removing all formal organization we open the door for domination by whoever is strongest or most violent... government by the most brutish. Not a situation I'd like to be in, and for me, quite the opposite of anarchy.

Coyote, I suppose in every conflict there’s a self working ethical equilibrium that determines the dynamics of engagement. Of course I don’t condone, asymmetric violence and as a matter of fact I think it is praiseworthy the way the Greeks have taken this outburst of uncontrolled violence and are now by more peaceful initiatives, channeling into a nationally snowballing discontent towards the Karamanlis government. I only thought the comment on the ray tracer wasn’t arguable in the context of riots on this scale, on which we seem to agree.

Also in every ideology are in inseparable differences, maybe I am too much of a fundamentalist, it’s just that I believe, any system can then only optimally function, if comprehensively applied. To that regard I deem anarchy itself as a system that ought not to be compromised. After all anarchy is Greek, meaning “without ruler”, ergo that it’s most optima forma is executed without any coercive guidance.

We as humans have by means of our rational thinking and ways of organizing compromised the system of nature. We have adapted policies to act in certain polite ways, have adopted certain moral standards, and so forth. But the laws of life itself are raw, bloody & indiscriminate. Uncompassionate opposed to compassionate. It’s protocol is that of randomness instead of regularity. Now it’s program may look unappealing from the human perspective. Still our collective behavior all throughout man’s ascendance and even until today, has not shown to be very different. Insofar that the defining set of rules that ordain the mundane civil life, have so far only commodiously accommodated a select few predators amongst mankind, granting them a sure & steady overabundant banquet from which left overs, humanity’s hyenas & vultures then feast, until we the mice & rats can ultimately scrape the carcass clean.
The guy put it so eloquently in the previous article;
“we can only cachinnate: their rule, the rule of gentle spirits and consent, of dialogue and harmony is nothing but a well calculated pleasure in beastliness: a promised carnage.”

For many people now this prospective of basically abandoning everything that has been safe, good & proper, ever since recorded history, is a preposterous, nonsensical & dreadful adventure. Yet it’s gruesome appearance is distorted by the fear for the unknown, the uncertainty of being able to cope in world in which much of today’s certainties are invalidated. What hides behind this awful mask though, that our angst projects, is pure freedom, uncontainable life as it was intended, as it has worked since day one, as it was born, as is it’s destiny.

Some call it anarchy. Then again some also consider the almighty dollar god.
I guess it depends from where you see the thing, but I prefer to refer to it as the original order of things. The way things were meant to be.

Augusta, Georgia: Riots Erupt After Cops Kill 23 year old

Police StateRichmond County Sheriffs shot and killed 23 year old Justin Elmore on Monday in the Cherry Tree Crossing Housing Projects. The Cops, claiming that Justin had stolen the SUV, surrounded him and opened fire. Bullets flew everywhere. Local apartments had windows shot out and a little boy was almost shot in the Head. On Tuesday, the community held a vigil in response to the shooting. After an occupying force of 90 police descended on the neighborhood the people fought back. Locals threw rocks and bottles at both the Police and the Corporate Media. People also set fires to dumpsters and at least one car. Corporate media reports at least 30 shots had been fired during the riot.

Militant resistance to police violence is not confined to the arbitrary borders that make up Greece. Oppressed people's in the US fight the police on a daily basis. Lets keep Augusta, and all of the other cases of atrocities committed by police in the US in mind when we act in Solidarity on Saturday the 20th. Fighting for Greece means fighting for all of us!

I must say those cops had bad timing. anyway, remember its not just greece, its the whole world and now its the time!

Militant resistance to police violence is not confined to the arbitrary borders that make up Greece. Oppressed people’s in the US fight the police on a daily basis. Lets keep Augusta, and all of the other cases of atrocities committed by police in the US in mind when we act in Solidarity on Saturday the 20th. Fighting for Greece means fighting for all of us!
